Fife Council Taxi Fare
The taxi fare in St Andrews and East Neuk of Fife adheres to metered pricing, regulated by Fife Council. STAGE 2
HIRE BETWEEN 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM or Beyond Fife's Boundary
- Up to 600 yards (549 meters) - £4.50.
- Each additional 150 yards (137 meters) - £0.25.
WAITING TIME
- £0.20 per 48-second period (£15.00 per hour).
EXTRA CHARGES
Christmas | New year
- 6:00 am - 10:00 pm on 25th, 26th December, 1st, 2nd January - Plus 50% on Stage 1 rate.
- 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm on 24th, 31st December - Plus 50% on Stage 1 rate.
- 10:00 pm - 6:00 am on 24th, 25th, 31st December, 1st January - Plus 50% on Stage 2 rate.
EXCESS LOAD
- Excess/Abnormal luggage or load: Maximum charge £5.00
SOILING CHARGE
- A charge of £60.00 is applicable for anyone soiling the taxi.
